عندما تحوّل تعويذة قوية والديها إلى وحشين عملاقين، يتعين على أميرة مراهقة أن تخوض مغامرة في البرية لإبطال هذه اللعنة قبل فوات الأوان.
يبدأ الجزء الثاني من حيث انتهى الجزء الأول، بعدما تحولت الأميرة فيونا إلى غولة قبيحة وتزوجت شريك وعاشا معا في مستنقعة، يتوجب على فيونا وشريك زيارة والديها الملك والملكة بعد فترة غياب عنهما طويلة، لكنهما يصابان بصدمة كبيرة، بعد لقائهما مع ابنتهما في هيئتها الجديدة، تتقبل الملكة الأم الواقع الجديد الأليم، بينما يرفضه الملك ويقرر التخلص من شريك، وبعد فشله بجميع المؤامرات، يلجأ إلى الجنية العرابة لتعيد له ابنته بصورتها الحقيقة، ولكنها تشترط عليه أن تتزوج من ابنها المغرور.
إيلا (سندريلا) فتاة صغيرة، تزوج والدها امرأة أخرى بعد وفاة والدتها، وعاشت معها وابنتيها في منزل العائلة، ولكن بعد وفاة والدها، وجدت نفسها تحت رحمة أشخاص قساة، حيث يثقلون عليها بأعمال المنزل بلا رحمة، وذات مرة تقابل في الغابة الأمير شارمنج وتشعر أنها قد قابلت شخصًا طيبًا من الممكن أن يغير حياتها، خاصة أنه قدم لعائلتها دعوة لإحدى الحفلات، ولكن زوجة أبيها رفضت ذهابها، إلى أن تظهر الساحرة الطيبة التي تساعدها على حضور الحفل.
تبدأ الأحداث عندما يقرر الامبراطور الاناني ان يهدي نفسه بمناسبة عيد ميلاده، بمنتجع كامل يبنيه على احدى التلال. لذلك يعزم على استدعاء أحد الفلاحين باتشا ليرشده إلى أجمل التلال. باتشا يتحدث بفخر عن تل قريته. عندها يصدر قرار امبراطوري بهدم القرية لبناء المنتجع مما يضع باتشا في ورطة لا يحسد عليها يضبط الأمبراطور كاسكو مساعدته العجوز تتدخل في شؤون الحكم. ويقرر دون تفكير أن يرفدها. أيزما تغادر بغيظ إلى مختبرها السري مع مساعدها كرونك، لتبدأ باعداد الخطط لتدمير كاسكو والاستيلاء على عرشه.
تتمتع ماليفسنت، وهي امرأة شابة جميلة وذات قلب نقي، بحياة مثالية نشأت في مملكة غابات مسالمة، حتى يومًا ما يهدد فيه جيش غازي وئام المملكة.

تبدأ القصة بداية طبيعية، تلقي الساحرة الشريرة باللعنة، ويتم تخفيفها من قبل الجنية الثالثة. يقرر بعدها الملك والملكة التخلص من كل المغازل في المملكة وتنصحهما الجنيات بأن يخفيان الأميرة حتى عيد ميلادها السادس عشر في الغابة، دون أن يعرف عنها أحد حتى والداها أو هي نفسها. و بالفعل يتم تخبأة الأميرة شفق في الغابة، بحيث تصبح الفتاة الفقيرة ورد التي تربيها ثلاث عجائز في كوخ بسيط في الغابة. هذه العجائز هن الجنيات بعد أن تعهدن بعدم استخدام السحر أبدا كي لا يكشفوا التنكر.
في أعقاب موت الملك "إدوارد"، ينطلق "أوتريد" من "بيبانبورغ" ورفاقه في مغامرة عبر مملكة ممزّقة آملًا توحيد "إنجلترا" في نهاية الأمر.
تتبع القصة مغامرات آنج ، الخلف الشاب لسلسلة طويلة من الصور الرمزية ، الذي يجب أن يضع طرق طفولته جانبا ويمنع أمة النار من استعباد دول الماء والأرض والهواء.
