Rose, která má smrtelně nemocnou dcerku, se chopí poslední šance a vydá se za starou léčitelkou. Bohužel však zabloudí do tajemného a opuštěného městečka jménem Silent Hill, kde nakonec svou holčičku ztratí. Rose se při jejím hledání stále hlouběji zaplétá do ponuré historie města, které je mrtvé jen na první pohled. V temných koutech totiž něco číhá… a nemá to zrovna dobré úmysly. Silent Hill je ve světě počítačových her jednou z nejpopulárnějších herních sérií survival hororů, do níž patří např. i Resident Evil. Silent Hill však nestaví na zombies a roztrhaných vnitřnostech, mnohem raději diváka straší po vzoru klasických japonských hororů a představuje mu monstra jak z deníčku nejslavnějších kubistů. Výsledkem je vysoce originální herní koncept, který učaroval i Rogeru Avarymu (scénárista Pulp Fiction), který se rozhodl sepsat scénář, s podporou autora původní hry, Akiry Yamaoky z Konami. Silent Hill režíruje Christophe Gans, zodpovědný za Bratrstvo vlků.

Ve vzdálené budoucnosti je vynalezen "DNA Hacking", který na základě úpravy DNA umožňuje léčit všechny nemoci a to téměř okamžitě. Vynález lze ovšem využít i jako zbraň, a proto je výzkum zničen a sabotován. O několik let později získá shodou náhod bratr hlavní hrdinky velmi důležitou věc týkající se tohoto vynálezu. O tu stejnou věc usiluje však i někdo jiný.

In the dark megalopolis of Méridiana, the silhouette of a mysterious character named Cybersix emerges, having escaped her creator, Doctor Von Reichter. By day, Cybersix, who adopted the male identity of Adrian Seidelman, is a literature teacher in a local high school and, by night, she 'transforms' back into Cybersix to fight Von Reichter's abominable creations and foil his plans. Soon, she's aided by her surviving brother, now named Data 7, a black bioroid panther.

Jack Hollister, aka Skysurfer One, is an extraordinary skydiver who leads a group of vigilante crime fighters known as the Skysurfer Strike Force. Jack's mission is to seek out and defeat the robotic Cybron - a man with a computer for a brain who may have played a sinister role in the mysterious death of Jack's scientist father. This group of daredevils soars the skies at breakneck speeds and performs amazing acrobatic feats in their battle for justice. The Skysurfers use technologically advanced watches, Digitrans, that transformed them from their casual clothing to their battle attire and weapons; at the same time, their cars transform into rocket-powered surfboards that they can ride in the air.

In the post-apocolyptic future, the earth is buried in an enormous megastructure created by machines. There is barely a trace of humanity and silicon beings run rampant. The last hope for mankind is information on a data disc from an engineer called Cibo.
