Og som om forandringerne i hendes interesser, forhold til andre og krop ikke var nok, forvandles hun til en stor, rød panda, når hun bliver oprørt, hvilket stort set er KONSTANT!

Podcasteren Wallace Bryton, der tager ud for at interviewe verdensmanden Howard Howe, der nu er bundet til sin kørestol. Han har dog masser af spændende historier at fortælle, og Wallace lytter intenst. Men så bliver han svimmel og besvimer. Den charmerende forbryder Gilbert Galvan Jr flygter fra et amerikansk fængsel og skaffer sig en ny identitet i Canada, under navnet Robert. Et stenskred dræber moderen, så Youk må klare sig selv. Han møder en gigantisk skamskudt grizzly bjørn, som først ikke vil vide af Youk, men da de hører ekkoet af geværskud og hundeglam, flygter de, og deres venskab begynder og fordybes senere. Et venskab både til hinanden og til livet, så stærkt at det kan besejre døden. Den oscar belønnede gigant instruktør Jean-Jaques Annaud (Syv År I Tibet, I Rosens Navn) forberedte sin film i hele 6 år. Hver sene krævede måneders træning for de tolv bjørne, som delte hovedrollerne. Resultatet blev en form for film, som aldrig er lavet tidligere - eller senere. Den indspillede utrolige 1,5 mia kroner verden over, og var længe den største filmsucces i fransk filmhistorie.

I 1930'ernes Canada ankommer eneboeren og jægeren Albert Johnson til en by ved Yukon-floden. Da han overværer en brutal, iscenesat kamp mellem to hunde, afbryder han kampen og tvinger ejeren af den ene hund, som er næsten død, til at sælge ham den. Ejeren klager til den stedlige politiofficer og fremkommer samtidig med en uretfærdig mordanklage mod Johnson. Det bliver startskuddet til en klapjagt på den frihedselskende jæger.

I et samfund ikke langt ude i fremtiden, er de få kvinder der er i stand til at føde børn, dømt til at være "tjenerinder" for den regerende elite, men ikke alle finder sig uden videre i at blive hjernevasket og passivt indordne sig.
