Nøgleord Remote Village

Den unge bhutanske skolelærer Ugyen udstationeres i en skole i landsbyen Lunana. Byen ligger langt væk fra den moderne civilisation, og her oplever Ugyen et helt andet Bhutan end det, han kender. Men hvad Lunana mangler i komfort, har byens befolkning i taknemmelighed, og langsomt bløder den vrangvillige Ugyen op. Blandt bjerge, floder og yakokser lærer Ugyen fra sig, mens han også selv lærer et og andet om verden uden for egen navle.

At the Northern part of Xinjiang, two policemen were killed by a group of poachers and the prey were nowhere to be found. Five years later, Wei Jiang left the the police station in the forest, and chose to become a protector of the borders. By chance, he becomes Qin Chuan's teacher, and leads him on the path of patrolling. They meet the local vet Ye Xiao Wan, as well as leader of the animal activist group Sai Na. Together, they found the traces of the poachers, and began a fierce battle with them. Finally, the poachers were caught, and justice was served.

There is not only fresh air in Black Lake, there are also very mysterious things happening there... Valérie, a police officer from town, arrives with her son Dave to assist Adrien, the chief of police of a small village whose partner has been missing for 3 weeks.

The story of four friends who travel from Bangkok to a remote village in the mountains for the funeral of one of the group's estranged father where supernatural events transpire. There they unleash a curse that had been long held at bay by the villagers and discover multiple layers of cover-up. While everyone becomes a suspect in the mystery, they discover that the woods conceal something worse than just superstition, and soon the whole group is being hunted.
