Dabei geht es Jamal nicht um das Geld, sondern einzig und allein um die Liebe. Ob ihm dabei das sprechende Pferd Julius eine rechte Hilfe ist, bleibt abzuwarten. Der skurrile Klepper hat nämlich mehr Angst als Vaterlandsliebe. Großmäuligkeit und eine gewisse Unterschätzung seiner heldenhaften Fähigkeiten kommen hinzu.

Im Grunde genommen ist Flo ziemlich im Arsch. Seine Freundin hat ihn verlassen und die Videothek, in der er lebt und arbeitet, steht kurz davor verkauft zu werden. Und der Schuldeneintreiber steht auch noch vor der Tür. Sein Kumpel Horst, der in der Videothek schwarz arbeitet ist ihm bei seinen Problemen auch keine wirkliche Hilfe. Sein Leben scheint allerdings eine unverhoffte Wendung zu nehmen, als die hübsche Nachbarin Ramona die Videothek betritt. Flo erkennt sofort, dass Ramona etwas Besonderes ist, denn im Gegensatz zu den restlichen Kunden der Videothek hat Ramona einen guten Filmgeschmack. Doch der Weg zum Herzen der Traumfrau ist für Flo nicht einfach und es gilt einige Hindernisse zu überwinden.

Mit Einschaltquoten von 80 Prozent erlebte das Fernsehen in den 60er und 70er Jahren der Bundesrepublik goldene Zeiten. Alle freuten sich auf Kulenkampff oder Peter Alexander. Der Film zeigt Nachkriegsgeschichte auf berührende Weise.

You Bet Your Life is an American quiz show that aired on both radio and television. Ciao Darwin is a variety game show format from Italy sold under licence to several countries, including Romania, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Canada, USA, China and Greece. Series 2 had a planned hiatus after episode 10 on 18 April 2010 and returned to finish its run on 1 August 2010. Series 3 began on 8 February 2011. On 27 October 2011, Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation was renewed for a fourth series. On 22 January 2012, it was announced that the show would begin airing Series 4 on 1 February 2012 in an 8 pm timeslot.
