Ŝlosilvorto Breast Cancer

After Molly Kochan receives a diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer, she leaves her husband and explores the full breadth and complexity of her sexual desires for the first time in her life.

In these two short films we will follow the lives of two women in a doctor's waiting room as they await to hear if they have breast cancer. Each short story will follow their journey after receiving the life changing diagnosis. All stories are written and directed by black women.

The story of Neeracha, a driven working woman who dedicates her life to work and socializing to gain success and acceptance, especially from her family. Her life changes when she meets Makkhawat, a kind-hearted blogger who views her as a workaholic and difficult to approach. Everything shifts when Neeracha is diagnosed with breast cancer. She hides her illness and battles it alone until she finally confronts the truth. Through treatment, she learns the value of sacrifice, forgiveness, and self-care, strengthening her family bonds, with Makkhawat by her side.
