See legendaarne film rääkis teadlaste katsest avada loomaaed, mille asukaiks eelajaloolised saurused. Alles nüüd saame esmakordselt näha dinosauruste parki just sellisena, nagu seda 1993. aasta filmis avada ei suudetud.
