In 1475 when Stephen the Great, ruler of Moldavia is facing an invading Ottoman army of 120 000 men, the fate of Christian Europe largely depends on the battle's outcome.

When a huge fire erupts at an oil field in the wilds of the Sahara Desert, an American who specializes in fighting oil-field fires and his team are called in to put it out. As the fire rages out of control, the expert finds that he not only has to battle the fire but greed and political corruption as well.

The movie is based on a true story from the end of WWI, in Transylvania. Two little girls - Maria and Mirabella - go to the woods for a walk and encounter several magical characters, among them a frog with his feet frozen in ice, a fireworm whose shoes keep catching fire, and a butterfly who's afraid of flying. To help their new friends, the girls must carry them to a sorceress who lives deep in the forest.

A Romanian village in the 50s. Năiţă Lucean, a cunning and stubborn peasant, opposes the collectivization process using all possible artifice. In this sequel we meet up with police inspector Tudor Moldovan, once again, who wasn't actually killed and who has returned to put an end to Paraipan's actions once and for all. When Paraipan kidnaps Moldovan's kid, the police inspector makes up his mind to punish Paraipan and his bosses and to finish off the fascist movement, lead by Zavoianu and his allies. Together with the communist that fight to gain power, Moldovan takes out his enemies one by one.

This movie is about the loneliness of an older lady at the end of WWII, in Bucharest. Her mental faculties are declining and she is increasingly living in her own mind.

Pacala is an important hero in Romanian popular tradition. He is always making fun of everything wrong with the human behaviour such as stupidity, greed or vanity. His attitude and actions always bring damages to the mean, evil and materialistic people. Filmed in a very beautiful part of Romania in 1974, the movie had an important success at that time and it is considered one of the most loved movies in Romania ever. Like the hero, found in many stories and jokes, the movie forwards the spirit of true freedom and pure link with the nature, forgetting about times and governments.

A young girl is cast for a musical comedy, but she refuses after her father doesn't let her play in it. After that, more offers emerge, along with a hit song dedicated to her from a infatuated admirer.
