گروهی از جنگجویان زبده، در حال سقوط آزاد به هوش می‌آیند و موفق می‌شوند با استفاده از چتر نجات در یک جنگل فرود آیند. طولی نمی‌کشد که آن‌ها در می‌یابند روی یک سیاره دیگرند و اکنون موجوداتی بیگانه به دنبال شکار آنها هستند. اکنون تنها راه آن‌ها برای زنده ماندن در این بازی مرگبار، همکاری است.

مندی و الی به‌زودی صاحب بچه می‌شوند. مندی به قدری از این بابت هیجان زده است که دیگر به چیزی اهمیت نمی‌دهد. دیگو، حالا که مندی صاحب یک خانواده شده است می‌خواهد او را ترک کند. سید فهمیده است که گروه به‌زودی متلاشی می‌شود می‌خواهد برای خودش گروهی مستقل تشکیل دهد.

یک پسر نجیب‌زاده‌ و دارای یک خانواده سلطتنی انگلیسی در کودکی بر حسب اتفاق و سهل‌انگاری در جنگل‌های آفریقا گم شد و پس از دردسرهای زیاد و تمامی سختی‌هایی که کشید توسط بوزینه‌ای به نام منگانی پرورش یافت. او که اینک پس از سال‌ها زندگی در جنگل و زندگی با حیوانات خلق و خوی وحشی حیوانات را پیدا کرده است، مثل حیوانات زندگی می‌کند و غذا می‌خورد و حتی مانند حیوانات صحبت می‌کند. تا اینکه بر حسب اتفاق چند محقق وارد جنگل می‌شوند و تارزان را به دنیای انسان‌ها می‌آورند. حالا «تارزان» بین دو راهی تمایلش به ماندن با هم نوعانش و وفاداری و پای بندی به خانواده‌ی گوریلی که بزرگش کرده، گیر کرده است…
