The washing machine bites the dust: turning the humdrum life of a young couple upside down.

After the death of his parents, Heinrich reunites with his sister Susanne in the abandoned childhood home. But his childhood guilt floats through the silent rooms of the house, and the prospect for reconciliation is remote.

Andi shares a deserted building with a group of fellow-squatters he considers his family. “WAGERL” takes a humorous look at the controversial shopping carts in Vienna’s Großfeldsiedlung, which not only shape the parks, residential buildings, and streets but also cause a lot of trouble.
