Two sisters meet after a few years of being apart. The past becomes the only thing that binds them now.

One dark night in the local cemetery, a gentle, wise boy, trying to prove to his elderly drunken neighbor that he is a man, receives his first lesson in the irony of life.

Eli has only two personality traits: she works as a security guard at the Modern Arts Museum and her only friend is her golden pet fish. The loneliness of the modern man, the secluded life as if living in a fish tank and the internal cry for freedom are the main leitmotifs of this short film.

A portrait of a Bektashi Muslim matriarch and her hard-working family shows gender equality blooming where least expected - in a rural community of pious Muslims devoted to family and tradition in a tobacco-growing village in the Balkans.
