When September is suspended from school, her sister July begins to assert her own independence. Tension in the family builds on holiday Ireland as a series of surreal encounters test the them all to their limit.

Kid brothers Remi and Akin get to spend a gift of a day with their estranged father Folarin. They go on a voyage into Lagos observing the colossal city for the first time and the hoops their father must deal with to provide. All this happens in the backdrop of a huge 1993 presidential election result which calls into question his ability to get them home.

In the claustrophobic confines of a rural estate, a family struggles with their tangled web of hereditary diseases. Among them is Alessandro, a young man with epilepsy and paranoid tendencies. Feeling burdened by the numerous afflictions that plague his family, he decides to murder them all.
