Little Lady (1961), adapted from a paperback novel, tells the story of a young woman, "the little lady", surrounded by evil relatives who try forcefully to take control of her inheritance until she is saved by the young son of a fallen aristocratic family.

After her mother dies, Sevda is left orphaned and is adopted by Şaziment Hanım. She grows up with Şaziment Hanım's son Bülent and niece Zuhal. During this time, Sevda and Bülent fall in love with each other. However, unaware of this situation, Şaziment Hanım wants to marry Zuhal and Bülent.

Cevat cannot make ends meet with the allowance he receives from his father, Hamit Bey. So he earns money by committing fraud. He also has relationships with various women. He falls in love with one of these women, Gülay, and wants to marry her. However, Gülay owes Hamit Bey a large amount of money. Cevat will try to convince his father so that he can marry Gülay.

Ömer is the mischievous son of a wealthy family. His grandmother makes a will to put an end to his grandson's extravagance. However, at that moment, Ahmet suffers a heart attack and dies. According to Ahmet's will, whoever Ahmet dies with will inherit all his property. Therefore, Ahmet's inheritance goes to Mahmut. However, Ahmet's nephew, who wants to get his hands on Ahmet's property, will try to take the inheritance from Mahmut.

In the mansion of a rich family living in Istanbul, a very valuable necklace is stolen. Suspecting that the thief is someone from inside the house, the owners start to approach the people working in the house with class differences and prejudices. The thieves realize that the necklace is fake.

The film tells two separate love stories involving Turhan (Tamer Yiğit), a young man camping on Büyükada, and two island residents, Jale (Leyla Sayar) and Mine (Tülin Elgin).

Turgut quickly squanders the inheritance he received from his father, and his house is seized. He needs a large sum of money to lift the seizure. At this point, businessman Hayrullah offers Turgut a job. Hayrullah has recently been receiving threatening letters saying that his daughter will be killed. He asks Turgut to find the person who wrote the letters and protect his daughter Sumru. While trying to protect Sumru, Turgut will fall in love with her.

The story revolves around the love between a high-society fashion designer and a young man from the countryside. Fashion designer Mine is engaged to her wealthy boss, Burhan. During a visit to her uncle's farm, they meet Ali. Mine, captivated by Ali's voice, decides to take him to Istanbul and educate him. Burhan, however, plans to send Ali back to his village. But things do not go as Burhan had planned.

The story of two girls who resemble each other.

The people are divided into two groups: supporters of the Sultan and supporters of Mustafa Kemal. In addition to those who have crossed over to Anatolia, there are also many secret supporters of the National Forces in Istanbul. Müjgan is the daughter of Süleyman Sırrı Pasha. Talip is one of the volunteers of the Kuva-yi Milliye movement in Istanbul. Talip befriends Müjgan in order to access information through her father. However, Müjgan realizes Talip's true identity and intentions. Upon this realization, Müjgan voluntarily helps Talip. However, this help leads to the beginning of a love affair between the two.

Neriman travels to Europe by ship. The ship's first mate, Ömer, and second engineer, Bülent, fall in love with Neriman. Ömer and Bülent compete with each other to win Neriman's heart. However, Neriman rejects them because they never asked for her opinion. Ömer and Neriman argue on the ship. Neriman slaps Ömer. As a result, Ömer distances himself from Neriman. However, Neriman also loves Ömer.

Aysel is one of the passengers on a plane that crashes into the sea. She is not found in the search conducted after the accident, and four years later, the court assumes she is dead and allows Turgut to remarry. However, Aysel survives after being washed up on a deserted island. On the day Turgut married Nuran, he was stunned to see Aysel arrive in Istanbul. He couldn't bring himself to tell Nuran about the situation. Aysel, on one hand, spent time with Cahit to make Turgut jealous, while on the other hand, she was tormented by the guilt of hiding her true identity from her own daughter, Nilgün.

Zeynep escapes from the mental hospital where she was confined by those trying to seize her inheritance. The young woman, who has been in an accident on the road, is found unconscious by Tarık. Meanwhile, everyone who hears about the reward on her head is after Zeynep. The young woman cannot trust anyone but Tarık, who is helping her. The pair does not have much time to expose the game being played.
