פול ושני בניו מוצאים שלווה ביום יום. אבל כשהלילה יורד, דלתות הבית חייבות להינעל היטב , החלונות להיאטם ועליהם לשמור על דממה. כי יצורי ענק מפלצתיים שהתפתחו, מתעוררים בלילות מחפשים להרוג כל מה שבדרכם. יום אחד, אחד הילדים מאחר לחזור הביתה וחשיכה יורדת. פול מחליט לצאת אל הלילה, להציל אותו וכשהוא נפצע על הצעירים להשתמש בכל האמצעים שאביהם לימד אותם כדי לשרוד ולהציל המשפחה.

בעיירת מדבר אמריקאית בדיונית בסביבות 1955, בעת המפגש השנתי של כנס צופי הכוכבים וצוערי החלל בעיירה הנידחת. כאשר הכנס מופרע באופן מרהיב על ידי אירועים בלתי רגילים, מגלים אורחי הכנס כי אינם רשאים לעזוב את העיירה והם נאלצים ליצור קשרים מפתיעים בינם לבין עצמם.

BraveStarr is an American Space Western animated television series. The original episodes aired from September 1987 to February 1988 in syndication. It was created simultaneously with a collection of action figures. BraveStarr was the last animated series produced by Filmation and Group W Productions to be broadcast. Bravo!, a spin-off series was in production along with Bugzburg when the studio closed down. Reruns of the show aired on Qubo Night Owl from 2010 to 2013, and reruns air on the Retro Television Network from 2010 to Present.
