Priča započinje na Zemlji. Glavni lik Jake Sully, vojnik koji još nije pronašao razlog za što bi se borio, regrutiran je za odlazak na planet Pandora u vrijeme kada je svijet na rubu propasti (gotovo ne postoji niti jedan biljni ili životinjski oblik života, a financijski kolaps je zahvatio sve segmente). Treba zauzeti mjesto svojeg brata koji je poginuo u pokušaju komunikacije s Na'vi vrstom (visoka, mršava i plava bića s dredloksima) koja obitava na planetu Pandora. No, postoje problemi; prvi je to što je Jake invalid (ostao je bez noge tijekom ture kao marinac), a drugi je taj što Na'viji baš i nisu veliki ljubitelji ljudske rase.

Otkad je odlučio trajno prenijeti ljudsku svijest u svoje tijelo Avatara i postati novi vođa naroda Na’vi, Jake Sully živi sa svojom obitelji na Pandori. On i Neytiri su osnovali obitelj i dobili djecu. Kolonizirajuće su se snage vratile na Pandoru kako bi završili prvotnu potragu za rijetkim mineralom, prisiljavajući Jakea i Neytiri da pobjegnu iz svog doma, istražujući do tada nepoznate dijelove Pandore gdje će se upoznati s ljudima Metkayine, klanom domorodaca koji žive okruženi morem.

Dječak sazna da ima čudesne moći i da nije sa Zemlje. Kao mladić, otisne se na putovanje da otkrije odakle dolazi i zašto je ovamo poslan. Ali heroj u njemu mora izaći na površinu ako kani spasiti svijet od uništenja.

Slučajni heroj, Mickey Barnes, našao se u izvanrednoj situaciji kada ga je poslodavac, koji zahtijeva ultimativnu predanost poslu... zatražio da umre, više puta, kako bi živio. Film prati zaposlenika Mickeyja čiji je posao odlazak na opasne misije i kad jedna njegova varijanta umre, gotovo odmah je dostupan njegov replikant koji ima većinu sjećanja svog prethodnika. Mickeyja zovu ‘potrošni’, odnosno, svaka misija koja je preopasna za ljude, je misija za njega. Do problema dođe kad jedna varijanta ipak preživi (Mickey 17) i susretne se s novom (Mickey 18).

Thor je zarobljen na drugoj strani svemira bez svog moćnog malja te se nađe u utrci s vremenom kad se mora vratiti u Asgard kako bi zaustavio Ragnarok – uništenje svog rodnog svijeta i kraj asgardske civilizacije – koji predvodi svemoguća i nemilosrdna Hela. No prije toga mora preživjeti smrtonosno gladijatorsko natjecanje u kojem se suočava sa svojim bivšim saveznikom i kolegom Osvetnikom – Nevjerojatnim Hulkom!

Pripadnici skupine elitnih ratnika uviđaju da su dovedeni na strani planet... da bi bili lovina. Oni su hladnokrvni ubojice i ljudski predatori koji postaju plijen novoj vrsti izvanzemaljskih predatora.

Valerian (Dane DeHaan) i Laureline (Cara Delevingne) su specijalni vladini agenti zaduženi za održavanje reda u cijelom svemiru. Valerian ima u planu romantičnu vezu sa svojom partnericom Laureline, međutim ona će ga odbiti zbog njegove opsežne prošlosti sa ženama. Pod direktivom Zapovjednika (Clive Owen), Valerian i Laureline su poslani na misiju u međugalaktički grad Alpha, rastuću metropolu koja je sastavljena od tisuću planeta. Alpha ima sedamnaest milijuna stanovnika koji su ujedinili svoje talente, tehnologiju i resurse za dobrobit svih. Godine 2029. zapovjednik svemirskog broda, kapetan Leo Davidson, krenuvši u potragu za malim šatlom u kojem su on i njegova posada uputili pokusnog majmuna na vožnju, prisilno aterira na nepoznatom planetu. Ubrzo shvati da tim planetom vladaju kultivirani majmuni, koji se nemilosrdno odnose spram ljudi smatrajući ih nižom rasom. Davidson uspije pobjeći uz pomoć dobroćudne majmunske znanstvenice Ari, kćeri utjecajnog majmunskog senatora, a za njima u potragu kreće nemilosrdni general Thade kojem je otac na samrti priznao da su nekad jako davno ljudi vladali majmunima.

Radnja filma istražuje priču o podrijetlu astronauta Buzza Svjetlosnog i njegov napredak kako bi postao kapetan Jedinice za zaštitu svemira - Space Rangersa, posvećene borbi protiv zlog cara Zurga.

U bliskoj budućnosti, virus koji je zarazio biosferu prijeti smrću cjelokupnog života na Zemlji. Svemirska ekspedicija je poslana na daleki planet kako bi stvorila novi dom za ljude u svemiru. Međutim, posada iznenada ostane bez struje na čudnom planetu, gdje ih čeka nešto nezamislivo.

Space Precinct is a British television series that aired from 1994 to 1995 on Sky One and later on BBC Two in Britain, and in first-run syndication in the US. Many US stations scheduled the show in late night time slots, which resulted in low ratings and ensured cancellation. The series was created by Gerry Anderson and was a mix of science fiction and police procedural that combined elements of many of Anderson's previous series such as Space: 1999, UFO and Thunderbirds, but with an added dash of Law & Order and Dragnet. Gerry Anderson was Executive Producer along with Tom Gutteridge. One of the series' directors was John Glen who had previously helmed various James Bond movies.
