Dr. Challis u noćnoj smjeni u bolnici prima pacijenta koji je žrtva neobičnog napada i koji uskoro umire. Identificirati ga dolazi njegova kćer Ellie koja je uvjerena da se iza ubojstva njenog oca krije nešto neobično. Dr. Challis joj odlučuje pomoći i zajedno kreću u istragu. Trag vodi u gradić Santa Mirtu gdje se nalazi tvornica maski za Noć vještica koje je Ellien otac kupovao i gdje je imao poslovni sastanak neposredno prije smrti. Otkrivaju da je cijeli grad u vlasništvu Conala Cochrana koji nije dobročinitelj kakvim se prikazuje već sljedbenik drevnih keltskih rituala i za Noć vještiva sprema svima koji nose njegove maske ubojito iznenađenje.

Set in a society where all men live under 'The Women’s Safety Act', meaning they are bound by a strict curfew from 7PM to 7AM every night, with their movements tracked by an ankle tag 24 hours a day. When a woman's body is discovered, brutally murdered during curfew hours and left on the steps of the Women's Safety Center, veteran Police officer Pamela Green believes that a man is responsible. But in a world where men are bound by the curfew system, her theory is rejected.
