明朝の時代。暴政を繰り返す宦官・曹に仕える大臣・干は、政敵である曹の策略に引っ掛かってしまって非業の死を遂げ、その3人の遺児は流刑にされてしまうが、彼らは父親の復讐のために立ち上がろうと決心。遺児たちが荒野にある一軒宿“龍門客棧”に向かう一方、曹の手下たちも遺児たちを葬るための暗殺団を結成する。かくして“龍門客棧”で対峙することになった彼らは、そこで激しい死闘を繰り広げることになる。

1860年、夏のフランス。パリで金物商を営むデュフール（アンドレ・ガブリエロ）は、妻ジュリエット（ジャヌ・マルカン）、義母（ガブリエル・フォンタン）、まな娘アンリエット（シルヴィア・バタイユ）、そして彼女の婚約者で婿養子となる予定のアナトール（ポール・タン）とピクニックに出掛ける。馬車を走らせて田舎にやって来た彼らは、太陽の光や草木の匂いを楽しみながら穏やかな一日を過ごそうとする。そんな中アンリエットは、舟こぎの青年アンリ（ジョルジュ・サン＝サーンス）から舟で川に出ないかと誘われる。

特異な画風とオートバイ愛用者で有名な青年画家・青江一郎は、美貌の声楽家・西條美也子と伊豆の旅館に居る所を写真に撮られた。その写真は雑誌「アムール」にスキャンダルとして掲載され、雑誌は煽情的な見出しとともに爆発的に売れた。捏造に激怒した青江は、雑誌編集長と裁判で争うことになるが、そこへ蛭田という弁護士が名乗りを上げる。

Dick Loudon and his wife Joanna decide to leave life in New York City and buy a little inn in Vermont. Dick is a how-to book writer, who eventually becomes a local TV celebrity as host of "Vermont Today." George Utley is the handyman at the inn and Leslie Vanderkellen is the maid, with ambitions of being an Olympic Ski champion; she is later replaced by her cousin Stephanie, an heiress who hates her job. Her boyfriend is Dick's yuppie TV producer, Michael Harris. There are many other quirky characters in this fictional little town, including Dick's neighbors Larry, Darryl, and Darryl...three brothers who buy the Minuteman Cafe from Kirk Devane. Besides sharing a name, Darryl and Darryl never speak.

Struck by Lightning is a 1979 American television sitcom about Frankenstein's monster, which aired on CBS. Like Working Stiffs, another 1979 CBS sitcom, this show was canceled after only three episodes were aired in the United States, although all completed episodes did end up being shown in England on ITV in 1980.
