Sato's life – or what's left of it – is a paranoid mess of conspiracy theories and social anxieties. He's terrified of the outside world; his apartment is overflowing with the remnants of cheap take-out food; and his retinas have been permanently scarred by a steady diet of internet porn. But maybe it's not all his fault. After all, the nefarious N.H.K. is out there, and they’re determined to turn society's fringe-dwellers into a brainwashed lot of jobless, hopeless, futureless recluses. Enter Misaki – a mysterious girl-next-door type who is Sato's last chance to beat-down his inner demons and venture out into the light of day. She's ready to help him overcome his crippling phobias, but Sato would rather cower in his existential foxhole and pretend to work on the demo for his virtual sex game. He’s afraid to face the world. She's strangely desperate to fix a total stranger. Maybe together they can be normal.

"Wonderland" is a hugely popular virtual reality game, but the game's developer, Lu Weida, is from the future. Lu Weida was absconded to the present day and used the future technology and thus earning huge wealth. Meanwhile, Lu Weida's real purpose is to make the game's monster "Chimeras" to appear in the real world, and eventually rule it by controlling them. A new legend begins.

Hill, a former bullied boy with a geeky personality, finds love and confidence from "Yuka" in the female character romance simulation game "Yuka! Love Me Please" and grows into a handsome programmer beyond recognition. Hill achieves his dream of getting a job at the company that developed "Yuka! Love Me Please", where he meets Junji, the perfect, cold-hearted CEO from Japan. Soon after getting the job, the company announces that it will be ending service for the game, leaving Hill dejected. Seeing his passion to move forward despite his heartache, Junji approaches Hill with a proposition.

Filmed in five cities over a six month period, each episode pairs two indie developers together for 48 hours and challenges them to create a game based on a theme suggested by their peers. The series examines the creative process, technical skill, and friendships that form through a game jam event on a more personal and intimate level. Super Game Jam spans five episodes, each of which includes one of the five games - exploring intimate topics, abstract themes or complete madness.
