The last days of a mother and son, which they are spent together before mother being sent to a psychiatric clinic.

Zhenya fells unhappy because he broke up with his girlfriend. He decides to commit a suicide. But there is a problem - he could not choose the method of killing himself. Jenya decides to flip a coin, but every time he does it, something stays on his way.

To help his mother cope with a problem that requires money, the hero decides to sell his guitar combo, which is with his ex-girlfriend. But this turns out to be not so easy.

The main characters of the film are members of the group "Nastya" Nastya Poleva and Yegor Belkin. The half-hour half-documentary tape included footage taken by Balabanov in 1985-1990. In addition to the main characters, the documentary footage captured many prominent figures of Sverdlovsk rock club, in particular Vyacheslav Butusov, Leonid Porokhnyu, and local actors.
