A vengeful tracker is brought in to hunt down a large grizzly bear that starts attacking humans once a new Montana resort begins being built.

Daisy Mae Walker is an aspiring singer from a small town in Texas, who comes to a Big City to pursue a show business career. A kindly cab driver and a troupe of down-and-out musicians staying at her hotel provide her advice and support; but she falls prey to a sleazy nightclub owner who promises her stardom and makes her his "kept woman". NB: There is no "The" in the title of this film.

Shy Nina is still living with her grandmother in her mid-20s. The lovely grandmother gives her granddaughter a pile of money to finally make something of her life and hook up with a hot guy. That's what she does: she uses the money to make herself really chic. Meanwhile, Steve is crazy about the bombshell Kim, but at a party he falls in love with Nina and Kim is extremely jealous...
