Om Eris te verslaan moeten Seiya en zijn vrienden eerst de Ghost Knights verslaan.

In Noord-Europa regeert de reïncarnatie van Odin, Dolbar genaamd, met sterke hand. Op een dag redt Hyoga een man in Siberië die hem waarschuwt voor problemen in Asgard, Athena gaat op onderzoek uit en stuurt Hyoga alvast naar Asgard, maar als Athena daar later arriveert is Hyoga nergens te bekennen. Wanneer Dolbar Athena gevangen neemt om controle te nemen over het rijk proberen Seiya en zijn vrienden haar te helpen maar ze worden aangevallen door de God Warriors.

Het is niet vreemd dat de strijdkrachten van de Demon Lord bang zijn voor de Crimson Demons, de clan waaruit Megumin en Yunyun voortkomen. Zelfs als de generaals van de Demon Lord hun dorp aanvallen, kunnen de Crimson Demons ze eenvoudig wegjagen met hun ultieme beheersing van geavanceerde en overweldigende magie. Wanneer Yunyun een ogenschijnlijk ernstige brief ontvangt over een mogelijke ramp die haar geboorteplaats zal treffen, informeert ze Kazuma Satou en de rest van zijn gezelschap onmiddellijk.
