Moonrise Kingdom utspiller seg på en øy utenfor kysten av New England sommeren 1965, og er historien om to 12-åringer som blir forelsket, inngår en hemmelig pakt og rømmer hjemmefra sammen. Many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress.
