Savu and Panait, two drivers working for a firm of construction and assembly must ensure the movement of a giant machine. Frustrated and angry, he burns down these couple's houses and takes up with some anti-communist arms smugglers.

Inspired by true events, "Dreptate în lanturi" is a rough and poetic film, whose action is placed at the beginning of the last century. The movie sheds light on a Romanian peasant who fights against social injustice.
