19. век. Усред Карпатског горја је тајанствена и митска Трансилванија, где је зло увек присутно, опасност се појављује када зађе сунце ... и где се формирају чудовишта која настањују ноћне море људи.

У добро познатој причи срећемо младог адвоката Џонатана Харкера кога шаљу у необично и магловито село у источној Европи. Тамо бива ухваћен и заточен од стране вампира Дракуле, који путује у Лондон, инспирисан фотографијом Харкерове веренице, Мине Мареј. У Енглеској, Дракула почиње да господари завођењем и терором, тако да чак и „исушује“ живот из Минине најбоље другарице Луси. Тада се Лусини пријатељи окупљају како би отерали Дракулу.

За хотел Трансилванију чини се да су ствари коначно кренуле на боље... Дракулин хотел који је у почетку као своје госте прихватао искључиво чудовишта сада је отворен и за људе. Али оно што сада највише мучи нашег омиљеног Дракулу је његова озбиљна забринутост да његов преслатки унук (који је заправо пола човек, а пола вампир) не показује знаке правог вампира. Док се Мавис налази у посети код Џонијевих родитеља где је очекује прави културни шок, Дракула моли за помоћ своје пријатеље Франка, Мураја, Вајна и Грифина како би са својим унуком Денисом прошао кроз „вампирски тренинг“. Међутим нико од њих није свестан чињенице да Дракулин стари и врло, врло, врло, врло, врло старомодни отац Влад долази у породичну посету хотелу. А када Влад сазна да његов праунук није чистокрвне вампирске крви – и да је сада у хотелу Трансилванија чак и људима дозвољен боравак – ствари ће постати врло... шишмиколике!

The young ruler is the hope of the Transylvanian people, who have long suffered from wars. However, the ambitious Báthory pursues glory. He turns into a deranged tyrant, his best friend, the wise Gábor Bethlen, also becomes his mortal enemy and infuriates the neighboring great powers. Huge armies of the Ottomans, Wallachians, Poles, Hungarians and Cossacks attack Transylvania because of Báthory's adventurism.

Zete and Rika, with the help of Grandpa, are plunged into the secret world of székely (szekler) legends.

Follow a tween vampire girl who leaves the safety of Transylvania to attend a performing arts boarding school. Living amongst humans for the first time, she pursues her passion for music while keeping her vampire secret, something that’s made more challenging when her overprotective father charges an overzealous ghost to live with her at the school.

The archival photos showing the important events of the five days, the moments that created the revolutionary atmosphere, are complemented by the recollections of Hungarians and Romanians, and official statements.
