เป็นหนังอีกเรื่องหนึ่งที่ไอเดียค่อนข้างเจ๋ง ไม่ต่างจากหนัง Final Destination หรือ Predestination ซึ่งคล้ายแต่ไม่เหมือน แตกต่างแต่ก็ใกล้เคียง เหลื่อมหล้ำกันอยู่ ดูสนุกตื่นเต้นไปกลับสถานการณ์ปวดหัวและคาดไม่ถึง ประหนึ่งพาเราเที่ยวแดนเนรมิตระหว่างช่วงเวลาตาย-ไม่อยากตาย โดยพล๊อตเรื่องแปลรูปปรัมปราคติเรื่องกษัตริย์ซิซีฟัสต้องสาป อะเด๊ปร่วมกับตำนานเทพเจ้าแห่งลมหรือเอโอลิส เนรมิตโครงเรื่อง แบบโกงความตาย นำเอาแรงปรารถนาของซิซีฟัสที่อยากพ้นไปจากคำสาป ทำให้เจสดิ้นรนโกงความตายครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า ผ่านแรงปรารถนาที่อยากจะมีชีวิตและเริ่มต้นแม่ที่ดีใหม่ ประหนึ่งว่าถ้าซิซีฟัสไม่ง่วนอยู่กับการแบกหินไปตลอด เขาก็คงหาอุบาย ล่อหลอกเทพเจ้าได้สำเร็จ ซึ่งเราอาจเห็นทางออกจากวงกตของเจสก็ได้ ถ้าเธอมีเวลาไตร่ตรองยอมรับว่าตายแล้ว
