In intimate close-ups the camera captures an idyllic scene that seems to belong to a different era.

Suffering from insomnia, Arta develops a hobby of collecting pictures of other people sleeping. One night the girl accidentally locks herself out of the house and is forced to spend the night in the streets, dressed in pyjamas.

When his father brings his new girlfriend to the seaside, a withdrawn boy is forced to share his grief with someone he doesn't want to know.

During an evening we follow a couple of young people who recently graduated and who are trying to adapt to new surroundings abroad. They struggle while making plans because of their extremely virtual communication.

Birthed from a personal experience and a poetic text written by the artist, the film dives into the feelings of loss, helplessness and overwhelm during the process of accepting the hurt inflicted by others. These emotional wounds are translated visually into a physical and pulsing presence that represents a dark and unsettling image of femininity.

Somewhere… In a sports centre in Bazel, young people not only learn to walk within the lines but also to explore the boundaries. A portrait about the open-mindedness of girls and boys who, each within their own world, come together in this microcosm to search for connection.

Emil is a photographer. He loves photos, he lives photos. Transponder explores his photographic obsession with both observed objects and personal experiences. Emil's life, his present as well as his memories of love and encounters, are captured as a sequence of pictures taken with a camera.

The film explores the lives of Alessandro, his friend Cléry and his grandmother, who all struggle with the passage of time and the choices they make. As Alessandro repeatedly undoes his successes and loses in the metaphorical game of life, the story highlights the consequences of wasted time and the ongoing struggle against personal failure.

'Get Ripped' centers on the encounters of the twenty year old Niko and a personal trainer. Though they meet daily at their gym, contact remains indifferent and silent. As Niko's efforts yield results, a game of manipulation unfolds. 'Get Ripped' exposes the mental decay of a young man set to transform his body.

Déni is trying to find himself. His soul-searching takes him on the traces of his childhood, in the snowy landscapes of Kazakhstan. In an apartment decorated with thick drapes, he encounters his Chechen family and his patriarchal culture. At the mosque, or in the boxing gym, he discovers the closeness of the men of his “clan”. They are all virile and settled in their lives. He is struggling to find his place.

Naked, on the back of a sheep, soft office worker Willie rides trough the forest. His body is still in the office, but his mind wanders between dangerous flowers, li-los and an imaginary friendship for a soft sheep.
