The first Sultan of Egypt and Syria leads the Muslim military campaign against the invading Christians from Europe during the Third Crusade.

A man suffers from a heart attack so he sends his daughter to get medicine for him. After providing the medicine for the girl, the pharmacist discovers that he has unknowingly mixed a poisonous elixir. Reporting what happened to the police, the chief officer of Cairo starts an intriguing, full-fledged campaign to save the man before he takes the lethal medicine.

Ihsan arrives from Lebanon to Cairo, and works with his friend Marzouk in a nightclub. Massoud Bey asks them to perform at his daughter's birthday party. Then he learns that his brother died and Mabrouka, his niece arrives from the countryside, and he tries to kill her because she's the sole heir to his brother.

In Egypt forties and before the 14th of July revolution in 1952, a poor family lives in a prince's palace where the father works as a gardener. The family has two children Ali and Hassan. Ali grows up liking the prince's daughter who loves him too. Now grown ups, they realize how impossible this love story is. Joining the army, Ali fights in Palestine while the brother joins the police and is part of the King's guards. Ali gets back from Palestine and joins the secret military movement that will soon rule Egypt, The Free Officers. The revolution starts and the Free Officers are now in charge, putting Ali against his brother as a guard for the king and also against his lover, the prince's daughter as the revolution will confiscate all her family's wealth.

The film's events revolve around (Samir), a hardworking young man who is finishing his university studies, and his lover (Elham) seeks to help him work on the lands owned by her mother, which are managed by her stepfather. At the same time, (Rushdy) competes with Samir for Elham's love, and seeks... Wanting to get him out of his way so he can seize the inheritance, he coordinates with his mistress to implicate the stepfather in a moral scandal and blackmails him into complying with him.

He learns that she jumped into the Nile, so he travels with his son outside the country.

Afaf who's driven by greed and envy, following her lover Hamid, she steals money from her father's custody who wokrs for Adham. Her brother Mohsen tries to help her,but she rebels. She tricks Adham into marrying her while she treats his daughter Horyia badly.

On his way home one day, Morsi finds a child at the side of a road. He feels sorry for her, and takes her home with him to raise alongside his own daughter, Saniyya. The two girls become quite close over the years. When Morsi dies, their lives take very different paths, after a lot of suffering. While Sanniya falls in love with, and plans to marry, a wealthy man, Naimat falls into the grasp of a woman who is the ringleader of a number of beggars and pick-pockets.

Overnight, the situation changes with Ikram. After she was living a happy life with her husband, Hassouna Bey, she finds herself in the circle of suspicion by discovering her husband's betrayal of her. Her aunt, Sharbat, suggests several ways to help her preserve her marriage. He pushed Hassouna to assume the role of a rich woman, hoping to solve his wife's problem.

Hikmat disguises herself as a man after her brother suffered a tragic accident while on his way to start his work. She pretends to be teacher for the children of the Pasha instead of her brother. Hikmat gets to know the children whom she teaches and becomes Mr. Hikmat.

Adel dedicates his life to supporting the farmers, which his wife Hoda, who lives a life of luxury and extravagance, objects to, while her sister Malak Masaei supports Adel, so Hoda suspects that there is something between them.
