葛杰（Gauthier）是一个年轻的记者，某天从他的母亲那里得知自己是盖·贾梅特（Guy Jamet）的私生子。盖·贾梅特是一位法国香颂歌手，曾经在60至90年代非常的风靡。他正在发行一张怀旧唱片并在为此做巡回演出，葛杰决定用手持摄影机跟拍他，拍摄他的日常生活和巡回演出，他要制作一部以他为中心的人物纪录片。
