Takashi und seine Freunde sind nicht die einzigen Überlebenden aus der Schule. Der Lehrer Herr Shido hat sektenartig eine Gruppe von Schülern um sich versammelt, über die er wie ein Diktator bestimmt. Es kommt zu einer Konfrontation zwischen ihm und Rei. Sie und Takashi verlassen die Gruppe, um auf eigene Faust weiterzukämpfen.
